Dry and Dehydrated Skin Causes and Solutions

Excessive drying or dehydration of the skin may be caused by internal or external factors. We’ll start with the inmates, and then we’ll go to the outer factors of Dry and Dehydrated Skin .
1.Generally Poor Hydration:

2.Poor Nutrition:

Inadequate nutrition can cause xeroderma, a dry skin term. Vitamin A or vitamin D deficiency can cause the problem. Vitamin C deficiency can have extremely negative effects on the health of the skin.

All three of these vitamins are antioxidants that are important in preventing excessive skin aging. Vitamin A is needed at a cellular level for a normal water balance. B vitamins and electrolytic minerals also play a role in cellular homeostasis. In short, homeostasis is a good hydration.

It is important to note that a synthetic form of Vitamin A is sometimes found in anti-aging skin care products and in some solutions for acne. The synthetic form is acidic and actually causes dryness, peeling, and redness when applied to the skin. Other creams, lotions, and cosmetics can also cause the problem.

3.Skincare Products:

Alcohol is a common ingredient in many skincare products. In fact, it removes the natural protective oils from the skin and modifies the natural pH balance, known as the acidic layer. This means that regular use of alcoholic products in the skin can cause severe hydration of the skin. Basically, you have stripped off everything that naturally protects you.

Other skin care products that cause dryness include sodium lauryl sulfate, which is found in most lotion cleaners and petroleum-based oils. Vaseline, mineral oil and paraffin are petroleum-based oils. Even if they are initially soft, they can lead to dryness problems.

4.Winter Weather:

Cold air in combination with warm room air causes a low relative humidity. One of the ways in which skin cells get moisture is to remove them from the air. Low humidity is one of the causes of excessive itching that bothers many people in winter.

5.Hot Showers:

Hot showers, according to some studies, can remove natural oils from the skin. But it could also be the chemicals that usually occur in tap water. Chloramines, for example, are particularly dry. If you think about the appearance of your skin after swimming in a chlorinated pool, you will understand the idea.

6.Sun and Wind:

The sun may dry. However, it is necessary for the body to produce vitamin D. Therefore, moisture may have something to do with the effect of the sun on skin hydration.
